Description

Letter from J.P. to W.P.G. stating that yesterday Mr Gelson has told him, the Bank at Broseley knew nothing of the proposed overdraft. He infers that W.P.G. was waiting for a reply to his letter of 10 inst. before making the arrangement. Mr Bruff, the solicitor, is willing to complete as soon as possible. He asks W.P.G. to make the overdraft arrangement at once. He has suggested to Mr Fitter that an accountant should be employed to prepare a simple statement of accounts. Mr Fitter has replied that he will assist J.P. as to the accounts which are complete to March 1878, and could be carried in complete, to the date of purchase at the opening of the offices & passed by consent of all parties. He asks W.P.G.'s opinion.
