PICKFORD COLLECTION (Research notes etc)

Date

1980-1998

Description

The following items represent official and private research work undertaken on Bedfordshire topics during the period Chris Pickford lived ad worked in the County (1978-1998). They are chiefly working notes, and should be used with caution. This material is freely available for public study, but items marked "restricted" may not be photocopied or published without permission. This applies in particular to the text for Beds. Churches (Part III) (due for publication by BHRS in 2000), the stained glass material (intended for private publication), and the turret clock notes (which the co-author, Ken Shrimpton, plans to complete and publish when he retires). Chris is willing to respond to enquiries from people requiring further material on these research topics, and would be grateful to receive additional information. CHURCHES and CHAPELS
