Conveyance by Anne Cale, of Stratford upon Avon, widow of Simon Cale, of Stratford, gent., William Cale of Stratford, maltster, son of the said Simon and Anne Cale and Hannah Cale, daughter of the said Simon and Anne, to Thomas Venour of Welsbourne Mountford yeoman, and William Faxon of Ardens Grafton, yeoman, in consideration of a marriage between William Cale and Susannah, daughter of Caleb Perkes, of Snitterfield, yeoman, and for £180 paid by the said Caleb as a marriage portion, of a messuage, malthouse, etc. in Greenhill Street, and land in Old Stratford, Wellcombe and Bishopton and closes in possession of Thomas Tayler of Cherrington in Willington in the parish of Barston al. Barchesten, to hold in trust for a jointure for the said Susannah Perkes, charged with annuities of £8 to Anne Cale and £6 to Hannah Cale and with other provisions.
