David Williams, master, and David Williams, jun., mariner, of the sloop Unity of Oystermouth, Glamorgan, testified that the sloop left Bristol on 7 January with 340 bushels of white salt (duty paid) on account of Ann Farley, to be carried to Boscastle for Rickard and Co; during a storm, 264 bushels were lost.

Abraham Matcott, master, and James Hoskin, mariner, of the True Briton of Boscastle, testified that, on 20 September, 200 bushels of white salt were shipped at Bristol (duty paid) on account of Ann Farley, to be carried to Boscastle for Rickard and Co.; during a storm, 26 bushels were lost.

John Lang of Tintagel; confessed to a misdemeanour: fined 6d.

Appeal of St Agnes against order of 10 September last for removal of Simon Hicks and wife Jane from Perranzabuloe to St Agnes: held over.

Complaint of Nicholas Uglow of Minster, yeoman, against James Cock, his pauper apprentice (indenture dated 3 September 1745), who was convicted of petty larceny: apprenticeship discharged.

John Rickard of St Austell; stealing goods, value 10d., from persons unknown: to be transported to plantations in America for 7 years.

Henry Sandy of St Stephens in Brannell; tried for stealing from Richard Champion: acquitted.

James Cock of Minster; stealing goods of Thomas Wills, value 6d: private whipping.

Gaol and marshalsea rate to be raised and paid to Vice-treasurer.

Account of bridewell-keeper: allowed.

Account of gaoler: allowed.
