Chart shows coastline, hydrography, anchorages, buoys, topography, vegetation, farms, settlements, buildings, fortifications (including Landguard Fort and Harwich redoubt), land marks, sight lines and remarks (including directions for sailing into Harwich harbour). Includes decorative cartouche with coat of arms. Printed. North point with compass indicator and magnetic north (variation in remarks, 1785). Scale: 4.3 inches to 1 nautic league or 3 miles. 'most humbly Inscribed and Presented to the Honble [Honourable] Captn [Captain] James Luttrell By his most Obedient and most humble Servant Geo [George] Burn a Master in the Royal Navy'; published by Laurie and Whittle, 53 Fleet Street, London, New Edition 1810. Endorsed (in black ink): 'Captain Hurd [illegible]'
