Description

Two loose, unmounted prints with references and descriptions on the reverse. One is a photograph of the main door of the Jo-Khang, Lhasa. The other is a photograph of a sketch which appears in a plate in Laurence Austine Waddell's 'Lhasa and its Mysteries' (1905). The photograph and the sketch were taken during the Younghusband Mission to Tibet in 1903-04. Process = Gelatine prints.
