Lease

Whereby, having recited: firstly, the 31st. Dec., 1844 lease rehearsed in PA/101/12/118; secondly, William Whittem Loveitt's death; and thirdly, that John Whittem (described as in PA/101/12/118) has agreed to lease the property to George and Edwin Cramp (of Coventry, drapers) for seventeen years less two days, to which Robert Campion (described as in PA/101/12/118) agrees (upon the same terms as for PA/101/12/118): therefore J. Whittem and R. Campion convey to G. and E. Cramp PA/101/12/118's premises from the current Michaelmas for seventeen years less two days at £100 p.a. quarterly-paid (with suspension for three months if the buildings be damaged), insured for £300 in Whittem's name as well as for the £500 already covered in Campion's; notice of repair will give three lunar [rather than calendar] months' grace, otherwise the terms are as in PA/101/12/118; John Cramp (of Stoke, Coventry, gent.) is G. and E. Cramps' surety.

22nd. Mar., 1849. Endorsed declaration by Edwin Cramp (as George's executor) of the lease's cancellation.
