National Roll Sect VII (London): Bishop, R (MM) Lieut ,MGC: He volunteered in Sept 1914, and was afterwards sent to the Western Front where hetook part in numerous erngagements and was wounded. He was awarded the MM for bravery in the field and was gazetted to a commission for efficiency. Later, he was taken prisoner and died of wounds in captivity in April 1918. He was entitled to the General Service and Victory medals. 1 Beryl Rd, Hammersmith, W6.
