Administrative / biographical background

Jean Tait, whose political name was P. Mansell, was a founder member of Tony Cliff's 'Socialist Review' Group, the first meeting of which was held in the Taits' flat at 266a Camden Road, London. Daniel Tait's original surname was Tattenbaum.
