Catalogue and conditions of sale of property in Haynes known as Haynes Park Estate to be sold by auction by Swaffield & Son at the Swan Hotel, Bedford on 2nd April 1949 by direction of the Executors of the will of the late C J Hedges Esq, with vacant possession viz:

(a) Park House, Haynes, (the description of the house refers to a sun bathing roof and use of imitation oak joists and beams) with outbuildings, grounds (including garden ornaments) of 1.5a, Keyses Spinney (7.358a) including an old drinking place and spring. 9a in total

(b) Keyses or West Park Farm at Haynes as in PK 1/4/128 although here scheduled as 277a 0r 3p (water supply from reservoir in Keyses Spinney) , 118-119 Wilstead Hill cottages at the entrance to the farm. Tithes payments listed as outgoings. Sold subject to specified private rights of way, roadway maintenance libilities being stated. Tenant: J A Smith

Records part as let to A Taylor, the remainder being sold with vacant possession subject to rights of Messrs Bull, Durham, Jones, Taylor and Wolveridge to clear underwood up to April 1950.
