Immediate source of acquisition (When and where the record was acquired from)
- Items originally belonged to Fred Lumb and passed to his daughter Yvonne Lumb, on Fred's death. Yvonne deposited with Sam Morton, whilst he worked at the Rugby League Museum at the George Hotel, Huddersfield. Deposited directly with the University to be included in the Rugby Football League collection by Sam Morton at the University on behalf of Yvonne Lumb. In June 2015, Sam was contacted to see if he would agree to transfer his deposit agreement to RFL Cares, as agreed with other RFL depositors to ensure all RFL collections were deposited under the terms and conditions of the RFL deposit agreement. Unfortunately Sam was unable to agree to this, as the depositor was Yvonne Lumb, who Sam is no longer in contact with. This is an RFL collection that is deposited directly with the University and not with RFL Cares.
