Description

Lease and release, the release being a conveyance from Thomas Lea of Henley-in-Arden, co. Warwick, gent., and John Reeve of Coughton same county, gent., to Robert Knight and Edward Cooper (both as above) reciting DR 36/130-131 above in consideration of £500 paid to the former in discharge of his mortgage and of £628.9s.0d to the latter, £1128. 9s. 0d in all, of freehold properties with tithes in Studley, and surrender by Richard Morgan of Coughton, gent., William Grafton of Alcester, farmer, and Edward Morgan late of Coughton but then of Ashton colliery near Warrington, co. Lancs., gent., executors of the will of John Morgan late of Coughton, deceased, reciting DR 36/66 and DR 36/71-72 above, of the residue of a term of 1000 years in the said properties.
