Folio 682. Letter from James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board. In compliance with their requirement two yearly instalments of one twelfth each of the market loan of £860 have been repaid to Joseph Cross the mortgagee. He asks again for the Board to recommend that the advance by the Public Works Loan Board of the loans, which the Board have already sanctioned, shall bear interest at the lower rate consistent with the circumstances.
Annotated: 'Prepare recommendation as to loans of £4000 for water works and £4000 and £1000 for sewerage', 19 November 1880.
