Recites lease, 10 October 1799, the said Dean and Chapter to Philip Humphry, of Chichester, stationer, and John Holloway, of Emsworth, co. Hants., merchant, the then surviving devisees of William Humphry, of Chichester, brewer, dec'd., and exors. of his will

Messuage, consisting of three rooms and a cellar, and another small tenement behind, and outhouses, buildings and garden, late called Church's Storehouse on E. side of the lower West Lane in Chichester, abutting N. on garden plot belonging to St. Mary's Hospital, S. on tenement and garden late in occ. of Peter Barber and E. on lands formerly of Richard Lymes, gent

For 30 years at an annual rent of 13s. 4d. and annual payment of two capons or 2s. 6d

Recites that the said messuage, consisting of three rooms, has been assigned to William Inkson, of Chichester, victualler, at the apportioned rent of 5s., that the garden has been assigned to James Florance, of Chichester, esquire, at the apportioned rent of 4s., and the small tenement has been assigned to William and Edward Humphrey, at the apportioned rent of 4s. 4d., and that these parties have joined in a surrender in order that separate leases may be granted
