The following marriage licences were found for the most part among the papers of the 18th and 19th century archbishops, and with the exception of nos. 2 & 5 all are special licences granted by the archbishop of Canterbury. In most cases, the marriage took place in Lambeth Palace Chapel and are recorded in the chapel register (MS. 2886). The allegations for the special licences are among the Faculty Office Records.
