20 horse power crank engine, with 23¾ inch cylinder, 5 foot stroke, parallel motion.
Reverse general view and plan of the engine and boiler; reverse sections and plan of the engine house, framing and boiler. All the drawings bear letter codes.
Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 361. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 148.
For the West India Dock Co. Engine for grinding mortar, Blackwall, London. The engine was ordered in 1799, then suspended and re-ordered in 1800. The engine was purchased by Ralph Walker for the East London Water Works in 1807.
