A history of the Trust was written and published in 1951 by the then Chairman, W. Leighton, F.S.A., entitled The Church Estate or Manor of the Parish Church, Compton Dando, Somerset and further information will be found in the Reports of the Charity Commissioners for Somerset 1819-1837, p.669.
Of the two above accessions C/323 consists of a copy of Leighton's book, now part of DD/CD 29 below; C/384 consists of the Trust's records.
