This deposit is a collection of deeds relating to what was originally a plot of land belonging to the Moor Hall Estate. A substantial property was built on this plot, which by 1876 was known as 'Thornfield'.
The later deeds include simple plans; the property is located on the west side of Garstang Road, close to its junction with Blackpool Road.
