Head-and-shoulders full-face portrait, looking slightly off to the left, of the surrealist André Breton (1896-1966). One of the photographs used to illustrate Man Ray and Breton's Nadja (1928). With copyright wetstamp of Louis Silvestré (studio of Henri Manuel) on the reverse.
