Description (What the record is about)
-
The electoral roll of the parish of Lullington has never been large enough to qualify for a separate parish council. From 1894 annual parish meetings were held and continued until the outbreak of the 2nd World War. Subsequent meetings did not resume until 1959. On 1 April 1990 the parishes of Lullington, Litlington and West Dean amalgamated to form the combined Parish Council of Cuckmere Haven. The last annual parish meeting was held on 3 April 1990.
