The receipts amount to £2239.6.9¼, and the payments (including £3.17.10 due on the last accompt) to £2243.14.¼. Both are certified at the end of each month by the signature "E. Beauchamp" or (from April, 1537) E. Hertford". The payments are arranged under different heads, viz. (a) "Diettis", £411.19.9¾. f.6;- (b) "Rewardes", £73.17.6½. f.19;- (c) "Foren expenses", £241.6.9½. f.29;- (d) "Wagis", £63.13.4. The highest payment is to John Thynne, 20 sh. a quarter. f.56; (c) "Prestes", "money lost at play," etc., £906. 9.5½. f.58;- (f.) "Empcion of aparell", £298.17.10. f.64;- (g) "The Stable", £243. 11.5. f. 72.
