Recites will, 30 May 1783, of William Humphry, and appointment of parties in (a) as exors
I. Freehold messuage or publichouse, with backside, garden and orchard (50r.), abutting N. on the four Acre Field, S. on the Rife, E. on road, in Climping, formerly part of Avenell's Farm, purchased by the said William Humphry from William Cleere, of East Lavant, gent
II. Freehold malthouse, buildings and yard in St. Pancras, Chichester, abutting N. on road from Chichester to Arundel, W. and S. on a public house called The Ship and Lighter
III. Messuage, held under lease, 10 August 1808, formerly used as a Poorhouse by the parish of St. Peter the Great, Chichester, then for a Publichouse called the Fighting Cocks, on E. side of Lower West Lane, abutting S. on storehouse of the Dean and Chapter of Chichester Cathedral, measuring from E. to W. 134 ft., and in breadth at the W. end 94 ft., and at the E. end 76 ft. 8 ins. for the remainder of a term of 40 years, at the apportioned annual rent of 5s
