Messuage, held under lease, 10 August 1808, formerly used as a Poorhouse by the parish of St. Peter the Great, Chichester, then for a Publichouse called the Fighting Cocks, on E. side of Lower West Lane, abutting S. on storehouse of the Dean and Chapter of Chichester Cathedral, measuring from E. to W. 134 ft., and in breadth at the W. end 94 ft., and at the E. end 76 ft. 8 ins. for the remainder of a term of 40 years, at the apportioned annual rent of 5s
