This was formerly part of Leighton Buzzard Rural Sanitary Authority & the records for this Sanitary Authority have been catalogued here for that reason. Leighton Buzzard itself set up its own Board of Health in 1891. Eaton Bray Rural District Council was formed in 1894 and abolished in 1933, when the parishes became the concern of the Luton Rural District Council. Thus for later records see under R.D. Luton. Abolished by the South Beds Order 1933 CDP 54/4
