1. William Myddelton of Longthwaite, gentleman.
2. Robert Tolnson of Casterton, clothier.
Premises: all that close of arable or pasture ground in Casterton called the Nether Rigg, held of the Queen and parcel of the tenantright lands of (1) with appurts. except for wall and fence at north part of close from the Rigge yeate to the Fell yeate, to be made and kept in defensible manner by (1) for ever but with liberty for (2) to open or break down gap through wall or fence in any place for access for goods and chattels and to repair gap or hang sufficient yeate - to be held according to tenantright of Barony of Kendal, paying to Queen 6s 8d annual rent.
Consideration: 100 marks [= £66 13s 4d].
