Description

Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge of Concord [Moderns] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Years 1784 - 1786, 1798, 1799 and 1804 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Concord was named and established in 1775 and met at the Star Inn, High Street, Southampton, Hampshire. In 1782 the lodge moved to Guildhall, High Street, Southampton and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1813.
