Two 60 horse power side lever boat engines, with 42 inch cylinders, 4 foot strokes.
Also general drawings of 60 horse engines for the Navy, Mar. 1822.

For H. M. Navy. Flamer was wrecked off West Africa in 1836. Note that Boulton Watt & Co. provided the engines for a Post Office Weymouth packet also called the Flamer [see Portfolio 5/1136]. The Navy boat was usually referred to as the "Navy Flamer" to distinguish the two.
