Parties 1) John Liddiard of Chipping Norton, solicitor's clerk. 2) Thomas Hopgood of Chipping Norton, surgeon. 3) Stephen Smith of Chipping Norton, schoolmaster. Property: Messuage with appurtenances in Chipping Norton at a place or street called New Street, formerly held by Mary Fletcher deceased, then by John Boon and his tenants, then by William Beale, late by 1. and now by James Williams, police officer, with the messuage called The King's Head, late belonging to John Allcock and now to John Petty draper on the east and the messuage occupied by John Andrews on the west; and all appurtenances belonging to the messuage; and cottage lately built on the site where a cottage occupied by Widow Bowles formerly stood, now occupied by John Kench. Recites Mortgage dated 7 April 1829 whereby the messuage first described was demised by William Beale to Richard Cooper for 1000 years, subject to proviso for redemption on payment of £160 and interest on 7 October next. Recites conveyance dated 7 April 1830 whereby the messuage and premises were conveyed by William Beale to 1. subject to payment of the said sum of £160 and interest. Recites Deed of Further Charge whereby 1. conveyed the premises to Richard Cooper subject to payment of further sum of £90 and interest. Recites document CH/CN/IV/8 whereby the premises secondly described were conveyed to 1. and his heirs. Recites that Richard Cooper died 20 December last having by his will dated 27 July 1839 appointed that his residuary estate (including the messuage firstly described) should pass to his neice Hannah Cooper, now wife of 2. She was executrix and has proved the will. Recites that the two sums of £160 and £90 are still due to Hannah Hopgood. Recites that 1. has contracted to purchase the premises for the price of £450. Consideration : £450, consisting of £250 due to Hannah Hopgood on the recited mortgage and deed of further charge, and of £200 paid by 2. to him; also 10s paid by 1 to 2.: Notes: 1 conveys the property to 3 in trust for 2
