Blue half-calf volume measuring 362 x 330 mm. Many of the card pages have become detached. The photographs (numbered 1882-1931) are preceded by a copy of Cousens' printed report of the survey's activities for the year ending 30 June 1900. All the photographs in this (and the following two volumes) relate to the Jain temples at Abu, and give a detail record of the sculptural decoration of the buildings. Photographs taken by Henry Cousens and/or Indian assistants.
