Account of the purchase money from the sale of part of the estate of Mrs Martha Griffiths, wife of the Rev. Daniel Griffiths of Oswestry, clerk, in the parish of Liss, Hants, for which William Owen and Owen Roberts, Esqs, the trustees in their marriage settlement, have given receipts to the purchasers, namely:-
Lots 1 & 3 to Mr Eggan for £9,000; Lot 6 to Mr Jas More £67 10s; Lot 7 to John Randall £176 15s; Lot 9 to Mr Geo Holland £163 10s; Lot 16 to Edward and George Hoare £103 10s. Total £9,511 5s; Lot 20 to Thomas Fitzherbert Esq £1870. Total £11,381 5s.
Acknowledgement by Daniel Griffiths of the receipt of £10,000 provided by settlement for which he has executed a release to William Owen and Owen Roberts, and that they have not received £1381 5s part of Mr Fitzherbert's purchase money though they have given a receipt for the whole and that the same is part of £10,000 provided for Miss Charlotte Wynne by the same settlement, and promise to pay £1381 5s to William Owen and Owen Roberts to be applied by them as the settlement directs. 7 Sept. 1807
