Custodial history

These records were taken from the firm's premises in North John Street, Liverpool before their move to new premises in Cavern Walks, Liverpool. Bills relating to properties outside the county were not taken, neither, at the firm's request, were Bills postdating 1978. They have been divided into sections by District for ease of use: this does not reflect Tweed's organisation of the material. About 60% of those records fulfilling the above criteria were listed: the aim was to provide a representative range of the types of work undertaken by the firm.
