From Queen Elizabeth to William Cicill, kt. [1st] Baron Burleighe, Lord Treasurer of England (1520-1598; see D.N.B.) and Robert, Earl of Leicester (1532-1588; see D.N.B.).
Sussex: Manors of Herstmonceux, Oldecourte, Gotcham, Ingrames, Buckholt, Ewhurst, and Hailsham.
Norfolk: Manors of Horsford and Hawteboyes.
Lincs.: Manor of Holbeche.
Yorks.: Manors of Staveley, Scorton, Thurne, Mapleton and Nethercalcott.
Kent: Manors of Burham and Cowdham als. Codham, and the hundred of Burham and Cowdham.
Essex: Manor of Nasshall.
Recites letters patent dated 27 July 1581, confirming the properties to Gregory, [10th] Lord Dacre and Lady Anne.
Now the reversion is granted to William Cecil and Robert, Earl of Leicester.
