Description (What the record is about)
-
The indexes that make up this section record applications to the Cooper Dean Estate Office for permissions to carry out building works on 'Cooper Dean' properties. The idexes give details of the street, together with the Cooper Dean building plot number or house number, the name of the owner, the name of the architect, the type of work to be carried out (detached house, garage, new bathroom etc), the Cooper Dean Estate on which the property stood and the date of granting of planning approval by the Estate. The earlier of the two volumes also records the fee paid for the granting of planning approval. . It should be noted that it appears that not all applications for approval of building work are recorded in the indexes.
