1837. Draft resolutions, notes, rough minutes and some letters relating to the Commissioners of Police.
[The date added in pencil on each refers to the Minutes of the Commissioners].
[?1837]. n.d. Draft recommendation that the Magistrates be authorised to procure 200 yards of calico to make men's shirts, 40 yards for lining same of inferior quality also 4 dozen pair of socks, also 40 yards of bed ticking and 20 yards of flanel.
1837. 23rd Jan; 1st March; 27th March. Draft minutes of Market Committee.
28th Dec. 1837. Agreement signed by Joseph Greenway, witnessed by Chas. Owen, that he will continue the renter of the Markets until 13th Jan. next (inc) on the same terms as he now holds them: with note of resolution that the Chairman be requested to see the Mayor and request him to call an early meeting of the Council re letting the Markets.
