A collection of large scale aerial views transferred by South Yorkshire Archaeology Unit, and covering much of the present county of South Yorkshire.
The views are filed by the number of the National Grid map reference square (25" to 1 mile scale) within which a substantial part of the view is located. However, they do not match the grid reference boundaries, and there is significant overlap where adjacent numbers occur. The list gives the significant placename(s) for the area covered by each view
