Photographs belonging to Field Officer's paternal grandmother, Mrs Elspet Jane Watt née Murray. She was born in 1897 at the Union Hotel, Turriff, Aberdeenshire, the daughter of the Hotelkeeper, George Lawson Murray, and his wife, Christian, née Bonner. In 1922, the depositor married Dr Thomas David Watt, and when he bought a practice in Walkden, they moved to Buckley House, Manchester Road, Walkden. Her husband died in 1959 and she moved to Mesne Lea Road, where she has lived ever since. See also deposit number 1333 and sheets attached to this one for further information
