Thomas Colegate of Icklesham, gent, with James Jones of Winchelsea, cordwainer, and his wife Ann, to Judith Frise of Rye, widow, and her trustee William Durrant of Rye, gent

1 messuage in three dwellings with the outhouses, yards and a piece of land, formerly a carpenter's yard (¼a) in Icklesham, occupied by John Puckle, Edward Marten and [blank] Barden, before Joseph Almon, John Puckle and Zebulon Clarke, before Thomas Griffen, purchased by JJ from Thomas Griffen in 1770

2 messuage in two dwellings, lately built by JJ on part of a piece of land called Ewens in Winchelsea, occupied by Thomas Skinner and Samuel Eason, which, along with the remainder of Ewens on which JJ has built a Methodist Meeting House, JJ purchased from William Vousden, cordwainer, in 1784

3 the remainder of Ewens in Winchelsea, adjoining 2 above, occupied by Thomas Skinner and Samuel Eason, before by JJ, before by William Vousden, purchased by JJ from William Vousden's executors Drake Hollingbery, clerk, and Thomas Marten, esq, in 1788

recites: assignment of mortgage of 1 above for £50 by Sarah Hart, widow, at the direction of JJ, to TC, 24 and 25 Mar 1779
