Parish records
In addition to the parish church of St. John the Baptist, there were two mission churches at Welton. First, the "Iron Church", dedicated in 1899 and which closed whilst the Vicar was serving as Chaplain to the Forces during the First World War. Secondly, St. Barnabas, a permanent building which closed due to dwindling congregations and heavy expenditure in 1970.
