Christopher Parker, master, and Nicholas Dunscombe, mariner, of the ship Recovery, testified that they shipped 13 tons of white salt at Bristol, duty paid, on 1 August, to be carried to Bude for Richard Kingdom and Henry Curry, and that 2 tons 15 cwt. of the salt was lost due to stormy weather.

William Warmington, master, and John Saundry, mariner, of the ship Sea Flower, testified that they shipped 15½ tons of white salt at Bristol, duty paid, on 17 September, to be carried to Bude for Richard Kingdom and John Parsons, and that 3¼ tons of the salt was lost due to stormy weather.
