Giorgia works in the Research Department. Her role involves creating bridges between The National Archives collections and scholarly research, with a focus on global history and histories of the global majority, medical humanities and welfare histories.

Her background is in post-colonial literature, trauma and photography as well as digital humanities. She is interested in 20th-century queer history, spaces and communities, creative practices in the archive, and trauma-informed archival practice.
