Armstrong Siddeley Motors: Second expansion meeting

Present: Mr Chapman, Mr Johnson, Mr Saxton, Colonel Siddeley, Mr Magson, Mr Stephens. 1 Colonel Siddeley was requested on the telephone to prepare at least a rough layout showing his proposals for manufacturing 75 cars per week at Parkside. 2 The Planning Office are asked to reconsider their requirements in view of the amended 3-year forecast dated 11 December. 3 Careful consideration has already been given to the possibility of moving the development departments, and the final division has been made that whatever changes are made, development will be left at Parkside. 4 According to the brochure associated with my letter to Sir Frank Spriggs of the 23rd of August, we require an additional space of approximately 180,000 square feet
