Recital of lease and release of 1 and 2 January last

Consideration £1660 paid by Harper to Watters Lease and release of messuage, coachhouse, stables etc called the Crown Inn in Ludlow in Broad Street (formerly Richard Hodnet, then William Green as tenant to Watters) with Broad Street (E), messuage, malthouse and premises of John Foxton esq (S), messuage, stable and premises called the Red Lyon Inn belonging to Mr Richard Wakefield surgeon (W) and a street or lane called the Back Lane and also a messuage yard and premises belonging to Joseph Felton joiner and cabinet maker (N); to uses to be appointed by Harper, Childe as trustee to bar claims to dower, Harperl his heirs and assigns.

Appointment to uses to be expressed and conveyance of the part of the Crown Inn on the N. or upper side of the gateway leading out of the Broad Street into the yard with one half of the gateway or passage and a part of the front yard extending westward to a building up the yard formerly used as an open coachhouse, and also right of passage for Gabriel, his servants and workmen with horses and carts etc at seasonable times (from 6 oclock in the morning until 10 oclock in the evening every day of the year) to and from the Hand and Bell Lane down the driving way from then to the hereditaments (see plan on back of 5th skin) subject t o 9s 6d land tax, uses to be appointed by Gabriel or to use of trustee Downes during Gabriel's life and to use of Gabriel his heirs and assign Covenant for further assurance. Assignment of residue of term on this part of the property to Downes in trust. Covenant as to title deeds as schedule:-
