34. Two enigmatical letters, addressed to "R.H", the first signed J. Morley (perhaps a pseudonym), the other unsigned; 18, 26 Mar, ---. In the first the writer proposes "a league ofensive and defensive betweene us, into which wee will receave the two brothers with whom wee lately met", and in the second he speaks of himself as "a Presbiterian and the sonne of a Presbyterian, a lover of the covenant". ff. 85, 87.
