1 Transfer to Ansty: Transport of employees. Mr Pitt advised that arrangements could be made with transport contractors to handle both the immediate requirements arising from transfer of the road test and finishing departments and the long term requirements which would necessitate a total labour force of 1200 people at Ansty. Canteen: Mr Pitt advised that the present canteen facilities were adequate to deal with the people it was proposed to transfer immediately. Transfer of road test, car finishing and car despatch: The car finishing and despatch departments will be in the position finally allotted to them in the 100 car per week scheme. The road test will be a temporary location. 2 Costs: Transfer of the sbove departments and the necessary alterations to the Burlington to permit an output of 70 cars per week will necessitate the spending of £16,500 at Ansty and £4,500 in the Burlington. 3 Transfer of work people: Mr Johnston was of the opinion that it would be possible to persuade the people employed on the sections to be transferred immediately, to pay their own fares to Ansty. It was agreed that negotiations would be opened immediately. 4 Further work services: Mr Coleman said it would be necessary to increase the water supply etc. 5 Increased programme: An increase in output to 70 cars per week can be achieved by July. 6 Supply of spares: Mr Dalton contacted Lucas and Smiths and arranged that spares will be made available without further delay in all countries using the 'Sapphire' car
