Manor of Aldermarston or Aldermerston in co. Worcs., with houses and lands, and all other lands in Alderminster, Goldicote, Upthorpe and Eatenton, co. Worcs.
In 1680 the property was settled by Edward Partheriche of Littleport, Isle of Ely, co. Cambs., on Edward his s. and his heirs (after the death of Edward the elder) subject to an annuity of £350 to his intended wife, Elizabeth Beale (DAN/826-828). In 1705 on the marriage of Edward (s. of Edward and Elizabeth) to Mary, his father settled the property (after his death) on Edward and his male heirs (DAN/829-831). In 1728 the property was mortgaged to John Middleton and Henry Campion for 1000 years for £4,500 (DAN/832). DAN/833 is an agreement by which Dorothy Card agrees to accept £120 in satisfaction of interest due to her on her mortgage, from Edward Partheriche. In 1752 the property was mortgaged by John Partheriche to John Plumtree for £1,040 (DAN/834) and in 1754 on the marriage of John Partheriche and Frances Clopton the property including the Manor of Clopton, in Stratford-upon-Avon and Hampton Lucy, co. Warwick. were settled on John and the heirs of the marriage, with the exception of a messuage, farm and land then in the occ. of John Williams which was settled on Frances as jointure (DAN/835, 836).
