Indenture, articles of agreement, marriage settlement.
(1) Wm. Mayo of Swalcliffe (0.), clerk.
Wm. Mayo of Brington Nhant, clerk, youngest son of W.M. above.
(2) Edward Townsend of Mickleton Glos., gent.
(3) Anne Townsend of Mickleton, one of the daughters of (2).
(4) Thos. Webb of Sherbourne Warks., esq.
Mathias Unite of Burton Dassett Warks., gent. trustees.
Reciting intended marriage between Wm. Mayo, jun., and (3), now for £600 paid by (2) to Wm. Mayo, jun., as marriage portion of (3) etc., (1) covenants with (4) at own costs within 12 months of marriage being celebrated to lay out £1,100 in purchasing estates in fee simple in the names of (4) in counties of Oxford, Northampton, Bucks., Warwicke, Gloucester or Worcester, for specified uses. Specified covenants.

Also brown paper cover in which deed wrapped inscribed in hand of Thomas Webb - This deed belongs to Mrs. Mayo and her children wherin Mr. Mathias Unite and my self are mentioned as trustees for the disposal of eleven hundred pounds and seven hundred pounds to the children of Mr. Wm. Mayo by his wife which was Mistress Ann Townsend. n.d. c. 1723
