Tomlinson. ..... but somewhat I can inform you of which I fancy you will not be displeased at, which is that I have almost left off drinking wine. as I seldom drink more than two glasses in a day, so that water in almost my only liquor. - ...what manner I spend my time : I rise about 7 or 8 o'clock, breakfast, read sometimes in one book sometimes in another, then saunter about till dinner, go out or drink tea at home, then maybe go to B. Post's or Davids & spend the evening. I think I was never so low spirited in my whole life.
