Stepney Old People's Housing Association

Minutes and other papers concerning Stepney Old People's Housing Association, and especially the conversion of 27-28 Tredegar Square into accommodation for the elderly, 1951-63 (ff.1-137).

Jews in East London

Letter from the Peace Pledge Union to Groser, 1 July 1938, describing hostility to Jews in Bethnal Green (f.138).

Non-white Immigrants

Papers concerning the welfare of coloured [sic] people in Stepney, 1944-59, including papers relating to a hostel for seamen in Leman Street, and the establishment and constitution of the Stepney Coloured People's Association in 1951 (ff.139-244).
