Description

Mortgage of 1/3 of burgage ten. in west St. (rooms specified) Woodall to Phelps (recites lease of Jos. Farewell), 1722; assignment of the estates of Jos. Farewell of Bridgwater, bankrupt, to Geo. Balch, viz. mess. and 60 a. (occ. Jn. Jarman) and 2 mess., all in Bishop Hull (held of Manor of Taunton Deane), mess. and 37 a., mess. called Dyers and 22 a., and mess. called Hurley and 8 a., all in Stoford, Stogursey, 40 a. in Spaxton, 1734; reassignment to Jos. Farewell of property in Bridgwater, viz. house in Penel Orlieu in which he lived, Houses in North, Fryern, Silver and West streets, 3 shops in the Shambles, 1 a. in Wembdon, 1738; copies of surrenders of lands in the hundred of Hull and Manor of Taunton Deane, by Jos. Farewell to the use of Thos. Gale et al., n.d. [prob. 1721 see index to surrenders DD/DP box 98]; 7 year lease of the Parsonage and c.60 a. in Bishops Hull, Farewell to Jn. Jarman, 1725.
