Elizabeth Pryce died in 1807 and by will dated 3 May 1797 appointed Hannah Mountford spinster sole executor. She proved the will 6 November 1807 PCC

Settlement on marriage of Charles and Hannah

Covenant, within 30 days of the marriage to convey to the trustees the £600 secured by the mortgage, the money to be invested and interest paid to Hannah during her life, after to pay the £600 to such person or persons as she by deed or will should appoint William Healing survived Blower and by will appointed Charles Cross and Robert Healing executors. They proved the will.

John Wilde the father died intestate in 1817, leaving John his son his heir at law - letters of administration granted PCC October 1817 to his widow Ann Wilde

Edward Thornes died in May 1818. By will dated 3 November 1813 he appointed the Rev Robert Hesketh, John Parry and George Hayward executors, but by codicil revoked Hesketh's appointment. Will proved 11 September 1818 PCC

Sarah Wright died 8 April 1802

Grove, by direction of Stanier, has paid £5000 and £7000 in discharge of mortgage debts to the following persons:- £600 to Hannah Llewellen, £400 to David Evans, £600 to Ann Wilde in right of John Wilde the father, £200 to John Wilde party, £300 to John Parry and George Hayward as executors of Edward Thornes, £200 to John Bagnall, £1800 to Sarah Oare and Mary Wilmot, £1600 to John Meire; and has paid the remaining £6300 (the rest of the proposed loan of £12,000) to Stanier

Consideration: these sums

Remise and quitclaim, and release of the property of the only use of Grove his heirs and assigns, discharged from all previous mortgages, upon trust in case Stanier repay the £12000 with interest (according to the condition of a bond of equal date herewith) and meanwhile on trust to permit him to retain possession, to reconvey as he shall direct; in case of default, in trust 2 months after date to take possession and sell and stand possessed of the proceeds in the first place in trust to reinburse himself his expenses and the £12000 and to pay the residue to Stanier his heirs or assigns for their own benefit and reconvey to him or them any property not sold; mortgage proviso.

Recital of will of John Stanier 13 October 1803, devising to the Rev. John Bate, the Rev. Thomas Dethick, Robert Pemberton gentleman and William Coupland gentleman, their heirs and assigns, all his manor and property on trust to support contingent remainders, raise money to pay his debts, legacies etc and to pay Anne Edwards and her assigns an annuity of £50 for life and to his natural son George Edwards commonly called George Stanier (by Ann Edwards) then a Captain in the Shropshire Militia, and his assigns an annuity of £42 for life; subject to this, on trust for his natural daughter Anne Edwards (by Anne Edwards) then called Anne Stanier, an infant of the age of 14, and the heirs of her body, in default of issue in trust for Thomas Plowden Presland and heirs of his body, with divers remainders. By codicil of 19 July 1814 the testator corrected the name of the trustees to William Bates and confirmed the devise. By another codicil dated 15 October 1822 after the deaths of Pemberton and Coupland, he substituted John Stephens esq and William Coley surgeon in conjunction with the other two trustees.

Stephens died in December 1830

The testator died 11 August 1831. Will proved by Bates and Coley PCC 19 November 1831
