Description

Thomas Hext, William Frost and Thomas Moleyn in disagreement between John Trenchard Esq., (1) and Richard Keene and William Middlemershe (2), relating to:

(a) The just title of 1 messuage and certain land in Sutton, parish of Brighteston, I.W.

(b) All those manors, lands and tenements which sometime were of Thomas Vavasour in the towns of Preston Vavasour, Westbrooke, West Hayes, Blackpann, Horingford and Sybken, (Puckpool), I.W.

Award:

(1) Lands at Sutton to be divided into three equal parts (one each).

(2) Manor of Horingford to be surrendered by Richard Keene and William Middlemarshe to Joan Bowerman for her life and to John Trenchard and his heirs

(3) Richard Kene to convey to John Trenchard, 8 acres of land in Sutton, which descended to him with other land, as son and heir of his mother.

(4) The other properties in Preston Vavasour, Westbroke, West Hayes, Blackpan and Sybken to be held between them as before.
